We're looking for a rollout awning to buy, any colour, would like it to be about 4.5mts long if anyone knows where we can get hold of one that would be great.

I use this lot, my 4 meter one with walls turned up yesterday, prices seem ok and I have been buying stuff off them for a couple of years now with good results

I've dealt with Caravansplus and found them fine
I recently purchased a "wind-out" awning for the Goldstream (Roll-outs aren't suitable for my type of rig) I purchased locally (Hodgsons, Redhead NSW) rather than on-line, cost more but they indicated they were happy to help me if I had any problems with the installation.

Think windout, not roll out. Mine is a wind out, sorry about that. Most 4 wheel drive stores like ARB etc have the roll out ones

If you are in Brisbane or SE Qld try 'The Awning Man'. Yellow pages or Goggle. Fair dinkum guy & honest trader IMO.

Some businesses which do outdoor awnings, blinds and camping gear will either make them or act as an agent for some reputable brand.
Jayco is the outlet for the Colorado in Melbourne and they will take online orders, but you'd have to fit it or get someone experienced to fit it.
My awning is now 4 years old, and after being in full time use for 2.25 years, is worse for wear.
It has shrunk by about 8 inches in both directions, faded, cracked, is very fragile and brittle.
It might be wise to find an awning with a UV coating of some kind to extend it lifetime. They only guarantee them for 1 year, so I guess I'm on borrowed time, or bonus time.
My next roof will be treated with some UV resistent coating if possible. The walls aren't too bad, but they're not strong anymore either.
The roof has a weld in it between the plain white and the striped vinyl. I'd prefer a plain white roof of strong vinyl, but apparently Jayco don't do them. I'm sure there will be someone out there who does. The weld on mine looks like gathered material with shrinkage.
Happy hunting, and make your decision wisely. It's a big investment.
