You don't have to lose your anonymity, but a little more information about yourselves on your profile would be very helpful.
I don't want to invade your privacy either, but just a little information about where you start your travels from or who you are, would be very helpful when communicating on the forum.
I am aware that scammers can access these things to find out stuff about us and when we're going to be away from home.
Not your full name if you're really nervous, but a "handle" and just the town or region even would be helpful.
Something we can identify you with when we should chance to meet.
Anything more than the blank page which greets my gaze when I take an interest in who you are and something about you, would be good.

I took your advise CG and made a few changes on my profile. If you think its not enough just say so.
The thing is when you first join you put in some info then forget about it till someone reminds you that maybe you don't have enough in there.

Wow! I'm impressed! Great bio's.
Now Beach Ball we could be pseudo neighbours on the YP. My eldest daughter lives at Edithburgh, and her dad lives at Wool Bay. I'm usually there when I'm not on the road.
Pt. Lincoln is my "other" home.
I'm heading back to SA now, to start work again. I'll be based at Bolivar at this stage, but it's a short drive now to get to the YP, and a little bit further to the EP.
But the roads are so good these days that it doesn't take so long anymore.
I really didn't expect so much info, but hey, well done!
Happy Wanderer, enjoy your life over here on the "mainland". (Not the cheese).
I enjoyed New Zealand in '76 when I went to spend 2 months over Christmas with the in-laws, which are "out-laws" now.

G'day BB, I spent many happy hours around Marion Bay fishing at Browns Beach and Daly Heads, I reckon it's a great place. Chris i used to go fishing at Edithburgh also around Troubridge Point, another great place to fish.
PS:- Big fingers and small keys, the bane of my life.

Sounds like a plan to me. We have relations living in Noarlunga Downs whom we visit reasonably frequently and we will probably be there around Easter next year so a trip down the York Peninsular is always on the cards.
