I would like to ask some kind experienced fellow grey Nomad....How do I remove the L H tail light lens...I have a new one to put in and after removing the six nuts inside the boot and light assembly...It is still as tight as the proverbial Fishes posterior..
I don't want to wreck anything I don't have too.....Please help!
You really just wanted to show off your wheels didn't you? lol
Sorry I can't answer the question for you.

Hi Welcome, If you have removed all the nuts at the rear of the tail light it could b the sealant around the tail light. I have found this to be tight around some tail lights you might have to leaver it out.

Thanks Pam and Hammer...Sounds feasible.......Wish there was a solution available...Still wont have to worry about cracking the lens again

These things are usually screwed and glued to seal it off at the back.
If you carefully lever it off not to damage the base on the bus it will all become clear.
There may be a gasket on the back as well. If there isn't one on the new assembly, you may need to use it on the new one, so go easy.
Bloody tail lights!
I'm wrestling with the van's lights at the moment, so you have my understanding.
If you don't have to bog around in ankle deep mud to work on your rig it should be a bit easier on your legs.
With all the rain we've had in Cairns, every step outside the slab is a balancing act, testing the calf muscles to the max on that sticky, slimy black mud. YUK!!!
Good luck with the light.

Its possibily had a water leak around it at some time , so a fool has used some thing like urathene to seel it , if this is so you will have to cut the sealer where ever possible. This is the same stuff they fit windscreens with & has to to be cut.
