Hi Bob
Yes, looked at this but requires registration of Smartcard outside TV1 viewing area after 3mths use. The only way is to register the card in a remote area (Black Spot) registration.
More of the same nonsense as the Aurora card I'm afraid but is supposed to be replacing the Aurora transmission.

If you want it as a traveller then hang off for a bit. There is something being developed for us travellers but it will not be out till nearer Christmas. Those with fixed addresses are only be able to receive their local programmes (available now) but travellers will be able to receive the lot, but only after negotiations with the networks has been sorted.

I'll admit to being a TV-holic. Well, it talks to me all day, but I can't say I sit glued to it at all times.
Do we have to have more TV on our travels than on free TV? I like to watch the news, and my fave programs, but I won't die if I don't have TV.
When I'm out of range of any telly it's a good thing.
To be fair, can someone please explain to me why they have to pay for satellite TV, particularly when they're travelling?
