We are at this great free camping spot which is also in Camps 5 but with a slight change...  Hotel is under new management and welcomes all travellers....
Stop 80 is now at the back of the Retreat Hotel it has still no power or water BUT Free toilets, Free showers and also Free Laundry.... meals in pub are great and very reasonable priced and beer is very cold.... Stay as long as you want there is room for everyone.... it is lovely and quiet even though you are not to far from Peak Downs H/way....

Perhaps you could give us some idea of exactly where, what state and what town. Sounds like a really great spot and when I know will mark it is my Camps Aus as a winner.

Where's Epsom glassies?? There's one just out of Bendigo, Vic.

theres one in qld too ?but if you google that highway the person was talkin about its the queensland epsom that comes up?no pic ofthe retreat hotel though ?

Does this mean that drinking op bundy and fourex gold is a handicap?Just got back from NT AND BEER IS $60 A 24PACK ! and fuel is $2.25 at Limmen bight fishing camp.

for everyones benifet the Retreat Hotel is at Epsom just S/W of Mackay on the Peak Downs Highway 28kms n/e of Nebo.. in Qld.. Ref overnight stop is Qld.. No. 80 in Camps5 ....
