hi all just thought i'd post this incase anyone was interested,, if you're in South Australia and are heading north towards Port Augusta there is a place alog the way called Port Germaine, you'll go right past it on the way north well if youre in the area on the weekend of the 19th and 20 of November this year the town is holding a WIND FESTIVAL on the beach in front of the town the festival is called Blovember,,apparently there will be kite flying, hot air balloons, land yacht sailing on the beach, wind surfing and kite surfing out on the water in fact anything to do with "wind sports" might be worth a look in if you're going past......

where and when and how to get there and whats to see and do

Welcome to the forum Dreamcaster!
I wonder sometimes, especially in our winter, when you live in Cairns, why are you so keen to leave? Then I remembered the Wet. Oh well, every place has its moments.

Wouldn't those subjects be put in the Get together topic. Then we could all find them. I note that topic is not used much, would be really helpful to have events put together in one place.

If you put interesting things coming up on the 'get togethers' you could start a topic for each month. That way we could go to..say Nov.. and see everything that is on in Nov. all over the place.
Just a thought.
Cheers
