Saw the funniest thing today in the main streat of Warrnambool. We were about to drive through the main intersection of the shopping centre when a cow came madly cantering across our path in the middle of the road to the amazement of the townsfolk & especially the poor old bugger trying to walk across the road at the time. He was half way across & waiting on the medium strip for a break in the traffic when he nearly got bowled over by this mad cow, With jaw still on the pavement he just stood there in shock with his eyeballs protruding to there vary limits while pointing at the rapidly departing cow The cow was closely followed on foot by what we presumed to be the frantic handler of the cow who was rapidly loosing ground on the wayward animal. Then came the ranger vehicle & finally the obligitary police car heading up the rear. In curiosity we followed this unusual procession for about 4 blocks before letting them go on their merry way. Just wish I was quicker with my camera, & had 3 hands as 2 were on the steering wheel.
Cheers Jon
