We've just set off from Sydney on our five month Round Oz Extravaganza. We are at Nambucca Heads and will meet up in a week or so with the brother-in-law and his wife who are in Inverell, no doubt gathering up their fortune in sapphires.
Good old Murphy (the eternal pessimist) is with us all the way. Two days into the trip and I discovered that I left my trusty laptop at home - so this is being typed on a hastily purchased new "netbook" Setting up here in Nambucca the handle came off the jockey wheel and the arm came off my glasses.
But I'm smiling. Murph's had his fun. The traditional three things have gone wrong, so it's fun and sunscreen lotion for the next five months. Maybe...

Have fun Big Al at least it will be getting warm there, we've been on the road for nearly 4 years and at the moment we've got a 3month house sit at Millmerran, nice and cold here but thats how it goes people want house sitters so they can go get warm enjoy.

Blimey Al, didn't think I was ssuch a good kicker - I booted Murphy out when we were at Elliott Heads last month - no offence, glad he found another 'home'. However, have a safe trip, and enjoy, may see you on the road some time.

Hello Milo... I bought a Samsung netbook computer which, after three days seems OK - time will tell. Thanks too for your earlier advice about putting the weather details on my website. Too easy!
