Hi Folks .. I hope to be leaving for Kilcoy (Qld) on or about Monday 24th May.
I'm going to enjoy these next three weeks .. travelling the areas of Cessnock-Muswellbrook-Tamworth-Armidale-Coffs-Tenterfield-Warwick and Toowoomba ..
Need to be in Kilcoy NLT 10th June for a HF Rally .. then a week later I intend to head further north toward Townsville .. (very slowly) .. .. If you'd like to share a coffee on the way, please feel free to contact me !

Safe Journey Jon! I finish at Lightning Nickel today ... not sure where to from there. Although it is colder, I am considering going to Esperance/Albany (whales) and doing that circuit. Any tips on the free camps down there? Cheers, D

Thanks Linda .. will do !
Dianne .. When we were at Albany, we were unable to find suitable 'free-camping' in the area. Caravan Parks are not cheap either .. sorry !

Hi Jonathon, we are on 4 acres, hour SW of Brisbane. If you need over night or two on your way through, give us a yell. We can help

Your recent stint in Blaney should be a good practice run for Armidale, Glen and Tenterfield (brrrrrr!)....
I'm heading for FNQ July, Aug to get out of the cold too.

Hi John and Lorraine,
Thanks for your kind offer, I'll keep it in mind. Most likely I'll travel up inland via Goondiwindi, it's the shortest way from Newcastle to FNQ, even with a slight "dog-leg" from Banana into Gladstone to visit friends.

Just back from having breakfast with Jon.
Lovely to meet you Jon, see you on the road.
You put a face to a post and it changes everything does it not?
