Sure does!!!! It's where the people I bought the Toyota Coaster from last Week....They met me at the Airport to take delivery.....Insisted that they drive to Newcastle to save me the trouble of getting to there place.....One would think that they were Gods little angels..Would'nt one?

I forgot to add! So far its costing around $ 4000.00 to get a Victorian Roadworthy...Being registered till 2010......I'd like to ask how can a NSW registration Blue slip,Green Slip or whatever colour can this vehicle be deemed safe to drive.if it is given new Rego......I am still shaking my head in wonderment....Sounds like a few shifties have been going on.......If anybody is interested The case if far from closed
NSW green slip is third party insurance , goes with the rego.
Blue slip is when a vehicle has been unregistered for over three months,
normal road worthy inspection is about $25.00 for a car, a larger vehicle may be a bit more,

My lemon is Registered till 2010....Which I would have thought meant that it was declared Road worthy and safe to drive......
RTA NSW were no help....As a matter of fact I spoke to two of them and I could'nt understand a word /.had to hang up

Jimbo
I think you now know why they were keen to deliver the bus to a place where you did not have much of a chance of inspecting it.

How true Peter......You know the old saying......Once bitten...Twice shy!......I certainly hope this system does not ever come to Victoria.........

Hi Welcome,
What year is your Toyota Coaster? From the pic you have posted it looks in very good condition.
Would love to see some pics of the inside when you get a chance to post some.
Hope you get your roadworthy problem sorted out and hope to see you both on the road real soon.

Yes!! Looks can be deceiving believe me...Inside looks good as well...It's the Brakes and various other things like illegal wiring and cut out switches to here there and everywhere.... Also I have a stand on the back to carry Petrol and generator...It's apparently Illegal also in Victoria.....At this time it needs an engineers report Tow bar..The list goes on and on....

Here's another shot of the Lemon...Getting the brakes completly done...
wondering how it passed any roadworthy at all if the brakes need doing ? thats a wee bit weird, here in qld we have to have a roadworthy certificate before you can sell a registered car or whatever ?.

Apparently Glassies..RTA NSW doesn't require the wheels to be taken off when renewing rego and checking brakes visually.......Very strange practise.....Here is another shot of the Lemon
Hope this helps.
