I don't know if I should be posting this under the work heading but here it is anyway. Just saw an ad in the Kalgoorlie Miner and they are looking for contract workers to help with the wheat harvest. On the weigh bridges, grading wheat etc. Have a look on www.cbh.com.au to apply. Imagine it to be fairly light work, and for about 2-3 mths. Cheers, Dianne

Hi John! Sure am. If I get offered one of these jobs I'll stick around WA. I thought as it is only for a couple of months, those who are working their way around, as I am, would be interested. They have sights all over WA from Geraldton down to Esperance/Albany. What better place to spend the summer!! Cheers D

It will be good if we are somewhere near. I put down for any position/area, where I could. Good luck! D

thats good for this year, those of you that are on the east coast can do the same starting in qld and work your way down south following the grain as it ripens, as my wife and i did last year, even though it was a poor harvest. you have free camping and if experienced will get an extra 56 bucks a night to camp. quarters provided, washing machine etc, my wife worked on the weighbridge, and i was a sampler, though plenty of labourers wanted, opening tailgates on trucks, easy but warm. we were clearing 1500 each, per week, good money a. 7 days though.
cheers.
