Thankyou John. I have had a lovely day so far, all my kids have been in touch and Rob took me out for breakfast here in Mudgee. Sitting in the sun in a sidewalk cafe watching the passing parade. Couldn't ask for anything better. My best wishes to all the other Mums out there too.

It's been a great Mothers Day.
My two sons came down to visit. They fixed the kitchen sink for me and I cooked them some homegrown and homemade pumpkin soup and a roast leg of lamb (also home grown).
Had a call from one daughter and expecting one from the other, probably after the kids go to bed.
Life is good.

Thanks, John! I've had a great day too; out of mobile range so the two boys couldn't call (must switch to Telstra soon -- dammit!), but we had a beaut morning coffee (about the best in Australia, we reckon) at 'Maggie's Rendezvous' at Orroroo, followed by a lovely spiced lamb dinner cooked by John.
Life is good... ;)

Thanks John Had a lovely day phone calls from the two that live too far away to be with us and lunch with our other son wife and grandchildren. What more can a mother ask for. Hope all other mum's out there had a good day. Helena.

My mum (85 year old) poached my mothers day present from me today! First time in ages that my son has bought me something - and she thought it was for her

Tks, got the phone calls from my 2 sons and grandson! I cut the gift giving thing years ago! Cheers, Dianne
