getcha foot outa the grave! Several years ago, before I retired I was having a (slightly heated) discussion when someone said "Go and get a life why don't you!" I thought "now that sounds like a good idea!"

Someone told me the same thing once and that's just what I did. Age is an attitude NOT a condition.
You can be old at 35 if you choose but can still be young enough at 90. It's all in the mind set.
LOVE LIFE!!

As has been said you are only as old as you feel. I am 69 in May and I reckon I am about 45 'cause that is how I feel.
Get out there and enjoy life, you are still a spring chicken.

As others have said, it's an attitude more than anything. My husband John claims to be a (very) experienced 55, and turns 74 next month; I'm just nine years behind him. We've only just started our new life on the road, and fully intend to keep going until we drop, physical age notwithstanding.
So hang in there, Helena -- and happy birthday to Pam, and to Milo!

We're semi grey nomads here, I'm 51 & my ancient partner is 3 days older than me (she likes them young) Hylda has been a teacher & has many of her students & her sons friends as friends on Facebook to keep her feeling young & I recently heard on the grape vine that my 22yo neice refers to me to her friends as her 'cool uncle' so we do still feel young at this end. Cheers Jon

You're only 3 years older than me Helena. I got a shock the other day when I rememberd Wednesday would have been my 50th wedding anniversary if I was still with my first Husband. Can't believe where the time has gone.
Soon as I sell my house I'll be on the road full-time too.
Cheers,
Sheba.
