Hello all, Rob and I (Val) are new to this forum. I have read heaps of the stuff posted  here and find some really good ideas and hints. We live in Baradine, Nthwestern NSW and get away as much as we can. We are planning a trip around inland Qld in July hopefully but Rob suffered a heart attack early in march 2010 and now hoping he will regain his strength enough by then to travel again. Maybe we will catch up with some of you on the trails!! Cheers Val

Hi everyone, thanks for replying, this is a very friendly place to be! Rob is home 3 weeks now and is slowly regaining his strength. He was a pretty active person and finds it hard to be considerably weaker than his former self, but we are both positive he can overcome this. We can't wait to be "outthere" thanks Val

Hi welcome I think you have picked a good trip , we did inland queensland in 2008 brisbane to Roma ,Charleville ,blackall ,Barcaldine , longreach ,Winton , Hughenden , Charters Towers and Townsville it was just after rain it all looked great very relaxed drive not far between towns liked it much better than the coast road

Thanks Brickies, that's very similar to where we want to go. We are going with friends as far as Longreach, then on our own from there. We won't put too many kms between each stop cause we want to enjoy the trip. regards Val
