I have been told that if you intend staying in a free camp overnight you hang a tea towel oitside the van to indicate this to other caravanners.
Can anyone confirm this for me please.
Thank you Caron

Thommo, where is that particular "concrete crapper"?
A company at Ceduna used to build them, and I've seen them all over the country in my travels.
So, where is that one?

Granny & Tessa,
You are both nearly right! This "crappa" is actually on the south side of the Eyre Highway at a council rest area coming into Minnipa SA from the west.
Still can't help Caron about the tea towel!

Pauline's a ONE EYED JOCK MCPIE Collingwood supporter. Everywhere we stop she hangs out the big Collingwood towel, puts up a Collingwood flag and makes sure the Collingwood tea towels are handy. Good way to encourage people to come over and say hello. Trouble is they are usually supporters of other teams having a dig.
I sit quietly and let her deal with them. I am a Parramatta Eels man myself.

if the tea towel was red I imagine a bit of interest would be gained!
those crappers are everywhere on the peninsula! very popular on the copper coast as they are nearly vandal proof and easily transported
Can anyone confirm this for me please.
Thank you
Caron
