Can't help you there but up the river near Albury a bit is a delightful spot called Policeman's Paddock in the Camps book.  Thoroughly recommend that one.

I have been camping at Christies Beach and betts beach on and off for years...As a matter of fact I have just arrived back home from there today..7/4/2010....I often check to see if there are other Grey nomads in the Area...But have never met anyone...I know it's a long time that you put your post in Guru...Pity I didn't see it earlier.
