Not sure what the replies from 'Reza' & 'Xina' are referring to Jason, but I think you will find that us 'Motorhomers' are not the majority in the GN's Forum. That said, the one thing we all have in common on this magical forum, I believe, is our 'Nomadic' lifestyles in whatever vehicle provides the best comfort and fulfils our personal needs. We had some wonderful times in our Toyota Cressida/Cub Camper Trailer before changing to our current Toyota Coaster and 'Suzi' in tow.

we are a reflection of the real world in here, we have folks who are happy with a swag and a four wheel drive right through to folks who take everything with them
as for ratio I think it would be a hard task indeed to figure that one out, probably more vans than anything else!
it doesn't matter just as long as you are out there

not telling you what I got!!!! just on that note, we have a tent, and a camper trailer as well as a camper van, we still use all three so what section does that put us in (yeah I know, nut house)
does your kitchen come out on rails or hinges Xina, I have seen them where you stand outside to cook, which I reckon would be good!

It swings out on hinges Dave. Haven't used that yet, as I gave my nephew the stove and gas bottle. Don't like gas in a vehicle, although I do have a small camping stove with a narrow gas cylinder, that you take out when not in use. So far, all I've used it for is to boil water.
Trying to track down a sort of Half-dome tent, to use as an annexe type thing at the back.
Will scan it and post it. Some-one here might know where I can find one, and how much they cost.
Cheers,
xina.

Xina, I remember seeing something that might interest you at BCF. Like an awning that attached from the rear of 4x4 with suction cups.. $100 mark.
Best of luck. Barb.

That wouldn't have been the Oz-tent Batwing thingy would it Barb?

Not sure Xina, have not heard of bat wing thingy!! But this thingy was made from tent material, suction cups on to vehicle, and provided shade at rear, enough to put a couple of chairs under, have only seen them at BCF.
Best of luck. Barb.

if you have a look at the rear of my avatar Xina you will see a tent like attachment coming off the back of that, we had that made by "sar major" in Adelaide, a very useful thing
we do all our cooking outside as well, we have a full kitchen inside little blue but hate cooking in there so everything is done outside!
