Recently while free camping, I met a man who, in 3 days taught me all about solar panels, batteries, battery charging and many other little tricks. I could not of learnt this in a week of sundays from books. i
I have started the modifications he recommended and will stay all 12 volt in both the cruiser and the toilet block.

So Bob, did you propose? Or are still at the "hand holding" stage.
It's great when you can meet someone who can explain something face to face and you can ask questions to make sure you understand.
You just can't get by reading the manual.

Despite a lifetime career in things electrical and electronic I found myself on a learning curve after I retired when it came to 12v caravan and 4wd dual battery electrics.
