What a wise man! If all motorists could see the world from a truckie's perspective the roads would be a saner and safer place.
I shudder when I see brainless, selfish drivers cutting in front of semis, single, B-double, triple or more. With 120tonnes or more pushing them down the road - it doesn't bear thinking about.
When I see them coming up from behind I acknowledge that I have seen them, tell them my average speed and I call them around when it's safe to overtake. I usually get a happy thanks that I've even seen them in my rear view mirrors.
Lots happens when you're on the road - not just in front, but behind and beside.
Safe travels.
