Any nomads living or travelling in any of the widespread rain areas at present? Here in Cairns we are getting pelted today. I spoke to a mate in Mt Isa and they have had most of the years rainfall already. Cloncurry had theirs almost overnight. Townsville has gone from dusty brown to lush green. The Japanese tourists dont think much of the rain when they arrive but the rest of us are smiling. The radar map looks like a cyclone is running around in the middle of the country.
oh shut up!! 43 today, over 40 tomorrow, I've knocked off and not allowed back on the header till it cools down, surrounded by women, god help me and cool the place down a bit!
I's bored and I's only been home for 4 hours!!! hep me! Hep me!!

G'day Bill,
Are you still doing fishing charters out of MI? If so I could be a customer later in the year.

Nice place, Grenfell, but not good in mid-summer. Is there a Pool? Otherwise it will have to be a club for the air con.?
I grew up in the Riverina and remember the saying "If it's 100 degrees by 9 am is gonna be a hot day" Didnt seem to bother us when we were young!
Thinking of you.

you would be suprised how many want me to bring some of our excess water down south, bit I can only fit 120 ltrs in my hilux. our dam, Burdiken dam in 9 times as big as sydney harbour, and is full! the spillway is 1 klm across and it goes over 5m deep, mostly out to sea. There must be a way to get it down south. its been pouring here on the sunshine coast since xmas ,stopped today so things are starting to dry out, we are thankful for the rain as we need it tank water here.
but alas we have dug up our garden ready to accommodate our trucks up back of property and now it has turned to mud the ground here is so soft we have to put loads of ag line in to cope with it and rebuild our driveway completely

Nope, NO POOL!!!!
It is only a small council run park, very nice with a few shady trees, but that's about it.
Clubs are out as we have our little dog Roxy with us and can't leave her on her own(She's a sook!!)
We are heading to Forbes and then Parkes and hoping to reach the coast north of Sydney in a couple of weeks.
We want to head back to QLD by the beginning of March and we will then spend the next 6 months up the north of QLD, for their winter.
