Bah!!! Humbug!!!!
however having said that may I take this oppurtunity to remind all G.N's that xmas is not always a happy affair for everyone
may I ask that you simply think of others who are less fortunate than us and give a little of our bounty to those who by circumstances beyond thier control have nothing
perhaps a pressy under the "wishing tree" or a donation to a few charitys, hell we get to our age and we have excess of everything, we waste more food than we could ever need, our pressy's are chucked in some draw or other and forgotten about because we already have three of them
we are the lucky ones, we should start thinking of others at this time of year, there are many who will be waking up to an empty xmas, no tree, no pressy's and no lunch through no fault of their own
anyway, just a thought! take it or shove it aside but I hope you all have a great chrissy and an even better forever with no heartbreak in between!

I just had a couple of pm's stating my thread came off as me being a bit grumpy, i assure everyone my tongue was firmly in my cheek, no-one enjoys xmas more than I
I'd like to assure one and all that I wish you all the joy and merriment that the festive season could possibly hold for you and yours
but if you could just find it in your heart to think of others at the same time I for one would be a little happier knowing that a little kiddie had a pressie to open on xmas morning
just a thought!

The risk assessment?? ahhh yes!!
I have a good mate who is the band master of the an army reserve band and everything they do.......he has to fill out a risk assessment.
If they go to play in another town anywhere......... he has to fill out a risk assessment.
They are not allowed to travel in the back of trucks anymore. The must be in a seat with a seat belt that is approved!! Hence they have to hire coaches to take them anywhere. If they go on exercises....they go in a coach. That's our army LOL
