Cougar Cruise sets sail as older women look to attract younger men

Cruise ships are increasingly catering to holidaymakers' particular interests - whether it's art and culture or a particular hobby.

And sexual attraction is no exception as what is thought to be the world's first 'Cougar Cruise' has proven a sell-out in the U.S.

Aimed at older women who prefer to date younger men known as 'cubs',  the fully-booked International Cougar Cruise set sail from San Diego in California on December 4.

Revellers enjoyed three nights on board cruise line Carnivals rather appropriately named ship 'Elation', which visited Ensenada in Mexico where guests enjoyed activities including horseback riding and other outdoor activities.

According to Valerie Gibson, author of 'Cougar: A Guide for Older Women Dating Younger Men', a cougar is the 'new breed of single, older woman - confident, sophisticated, desirable, and sexy. She knows exactly what she wants. What she doesn't want is children, cohabitation, or commitment.'

Now Basil, that's taking "grab a granny" over the horizon. What self-respecting young cub would take up with a "cougar" unless her handbag was full of $100 bills. A decent night on the tiles would kill her or leave her with life threatening injuries, and he'd be left holding that handbag. There's no future in it. It's an unusual concept for this logical, practical old girl.

Granny, I believe they use beds these days, tiles are so out of tune with modern bonking... Apparently the younger guys prefer a more experienced woman and they don't come much more pragmatic and experienced that You....

 

Thanks Basil.... I think. They might want experience, but I've become very selective with age. That's why I've been single so long. No recreational bonking on the tiles or anywhere else.
