In such a diverse country we have it all , there is a niche some where for us all.
With so much to pick from at our back door ,each area offers some thing different in its own right .
We could go on all day wrighting down names of places , sure some are better than others ,other wise there would be no comparison .
I think if i had to pick a place i would go back to my post of [ 18yrs worth ], & just say ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
SIMPLY THE BEST

Getting lots of suggestions from family to travel overseas, and having done that a couple of times, I now ask..."Why?" Its safer here, you dont have to exchange any currency....and its simply the best!

well I've just climbed back up to my glass castle after a cuppa with aggie and jock, gotta say australia looks pretty damn good from up here, maggies singing, ducks buggarising around in a little billabong, just heard a kookaburra giving something what for
little roos mucking around under the trees, baby quails chasing about all over the joint, temp reading 25 degs, who the hell would be anywhere else
shame I gotta fire back up and disturb the tranquility of it all! love to just lay under that big old river red and have a snooze for a week or three!
oh well such is life!!

That would be the south island you are talking about Mr Duck! What about Prince Leonard of Hutt in WA. The Hutt River Province, he seceded from Australia some years ago. Does he still have his own stamps, currency etc? Apart from that what a great country to live and explore in. Can't beat it.
