Well, Christmas is fast approaching and with it the season of good will. I witnessed some of that good will yesterday at the local shopping town. The car park was extremely full and as I was in the company of the BIG Boss I was told to follow anyone heading to their car. I followed a lovely young lady, didn't go to a car but the sight was wonderful. Found another lady who beckoned me on, no not that lucky, but led us to where she had her car parked and made a good job of making sure we got the spot. The season of good will! A couple of hours later and dragging my feet across the car park with the shopping trolley full of groceries, proceeded to load them in the car, another lovely young lady waiting for our parking spot, indicator running. I acknowledged her so she knew the spot wwas hers. loaded the groceries, unlocked the car, the boss got in and I was taking the trolley to the trolley parking spot when this delightful young lady who was, I thought, patiently waiting gave me a full mouthful on how long are you going to be. The local biulders would have blanched at the language. So there you are two different ways of Christmas cheer and good will. Roll on Easter!

Sir Terro.......you could have taped it! I haven't learnt any new words for a long time.
Some of the sweet, delightful looking young ladies (?) getting around these days, could work a sheep dog........no risk!
I've seem wharfies blush listening to them.

Bring back the Barrel with spikes in'em.Maybe the Ducking Stool and Stocks,yes and the Wrack,the Lash(Down Disco,down).Foul mouth must be a school subject these days of political correctness and don't give a stuff attitudes.............Wow I am turning into one of those mean,cranky old bugger.No Yummies for two days is starting to have an effect.Cheers.Ibbo.

Sir Terro..............on reflection, I think if that had been me, after telling her where it was at........ I would have just sat in the car for half an hour and listened to the radio and then given the spot to someone nice.
No yummies for two days Ibbo?? What's going on ................and worse still.......who have I been drinking with for the last two days then??

All this Navy talk has me wanting to sing "A life on the ocean wave" or that old goldie, "do you b**ls swing free" if you know what I mean!!!! Ibbo had a good work mate who was in the Fleet Air Arm in the 60's. He taught me the version of the second song.
