They say a fool never learns. The neighbour who made the exploding home brew grog thought he had his exploding bottle problem fixed after the last demolition episode. He made a batch of Ginger beer Surprise, surprise the rattle of gun fire has again hit our Haven of peace and Tranquility.Yep all gone to the Ginger Beer God.What happened mate?I asked after emerging from our concrete bunker built after his last effort at brewing, the all safe siren has stopped it's wailing, the aroma of ginger beer is hanging in the air.Gee,must have put to much sugar in the bottles. The only casualty this time is his Budgie who was in the cool of the brewing room to escape the heat.Shell shocked, shivering, soaked in ginger beer, hanging upside down from his perch whistling the theme tune from the River Kwai.Would'nt be dead for quids would you?Better go and find Wallydog,he shot through on his skate board after the first pop,pop etc.Cheers.Ibbo.

Some burghers never learn: "When all else fails, read the instructions".
I've been home brewing, albeit sporadically, for over 25 years and have never, not ever, had bottles explode on me.
Mind you, I do brew for flavour and not for inebriation. (Well not much, anyway.)

Ibbo, mate, if it is fermented sugar and ginger, it is alcoholic!
Even the infamous "Ginger Beer Plant" is/was alcoholic.
Not very, perhaps........but.....
