Baffle Bobs Caravan and Camping Park, Baffle Creek
Baffle Creek is south of Agnes Water. Ph: 07 4156 6421.
I only stayed in a tent I found the toilets and showers ok, shower screens would stop floor getting dirty, cleaned every day. Did not check BBQ area out. The place had car wrecks behind office in fenced area so not seen unless going to boat ramp. Cost was $22 per night for 2 adults powered site. Do not park under trees I ended up with sticky resin all over the tent. Some powered sites would be hard to back a large caravan into with trees right up to the road. Average management, poor/average value for money, price was higher than expected. Great looking bowling green has golf course atmosphere was good, open and roomy park. Dogs allowed. UC gas bbq, lit at night, with seating provided. Suitable for overnighter or longer stay. Amenity cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, close to sites, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, average sized sites, adequate taps close by. Late checkout allowed (up to noon), kiosk. Quiet, open & roomy park, not enough shade.
Local Information: Boat ramp is fine all tides for small to medium rigs plenty of parking Jetty is ok for fishing. About 3 kms to beach.

I wish we knew about that park a week ago, came down from Gladstone looking for a place at Agnes Waters or 1770 but all the parks were $30 and up so we ended up here at Moore Park cp for 2 weeks with still a week to go, It's right on a 15klm beach for $25 for 2 for a powered site, its a lovely little unspoilt town.

Had a month there in Sept ,pretty much as brickies stated ,big vans not a problem .Powered sites are under shade ,lots of unpowered open area in sun, Bob has had a stroke few years back ,gets around on a electric cart ,grumpy as a bear with 10 sore heads ,Nola also had a mild stroke while we were there, they now have to hire some help . Its for sale if you wish ,Yhis is where we had to leave early to return home , Nola refunded the week that we had paid for in advance ,not to many will . Lots of river area for boating with there own ramp 500mtrs from camp. Basic , rustic , country style, Power supply is good voltage ,very hot water , phone ,internett, border line ,ok with ant ,tv average .

Continued, There is another camp area a few kls up stream at the village of Baffle Creek called Baffle Farm Stay . A bit more bush style , powered & unpowered ,two seperate areas ,boat access to main rv via a small creek ,walk to tavern ,general store near by ,have stayed there also .
depends on what you want , there was a post a few days back where some one wanted some one to look after property & feed chooks for three weeks etc in that area .
Forget this one last night as i was packing to come north .
