So lovely to get back on and see some old familair faces. It has been a tough couple of months as mum passed away. She was only 69 too. Since then have had a cousin and uncle pass as well. It has been very hard to deal with and I did lose the plot for awhile, but It is not what mum would have wanted so I am slowly picking myself up with the help of some friends I hold dear to my heart, and a lovely relaxing cruise. So, here I am back on to add my little comments here and there and enjoy the commeraderie (sp?) and friendship of this fantastic forum.
Cheers Ellen

Welcome back Ellen.
It will take a while to get back to something like normal, but as you said, with friends and the G/N forum, you'll be okay. Gee........3 in such a short time..............that would be hard.........but I think you've had your share and you should now be able to look forward to coasting for some time.
Where did the cruise take you??

hell, Ellen some people just cop it in bunches, let me pass on my condolences to you and yours and help ease the burden just a little in the knowledge that each day will be a little easier
you are, of course, amongst freinds here (as is evident by the replies) use us, there are folks here who have been, are going through, what you are going through, anytime you want a yak just a PM to any of us will get it
chuck in a line on the days when you feel "down" the replies often lift my spirits and I'm sure they will lift yours, a down day shared is a down day halved
I'm glad you had a good voyage and I look forward to your posts!

Geez, that was a rough trot, Ellen.
As I get older I find that there are fewer and fewer funerals for me to attend; most of my workmates died before reaching retirement age.
The up side is that I find myself mixing more with people younger than myself; a sure therapy for "Growing Old Disgracefully"
Nice to have you back

Congratulations on your attitude in spite of losing loved ones so close together.
Their loss will always leave a big hole in your hearts, but it's how you honour them as your remember them which will help you through.
I offer my condolences and also an ear, through Nomads. It's a whole new family.
All the best to you as you move forward. Our lives now and in the future are formed by our experiences of the past. It's all good.

Thank you all so much my dear friends. There are good days and bad but thanks to your help the good days are getting more and more. Plus the fact of having my 2 1/2 year old grandaughter ring me up and yell at me over the phone (she wanted to make sure I heard her as we live so far away..her words to her mum) I love you gandma. Now how can you be depressed when you hear that!!
In all honesty guys, you really have lifted my heart and bought a tear or two to my eyes.
Cheers
