I tried it and I think I'll wait for service pack 5 which will be "Original Vegimite recipe"

They should call it "crappymite" or "impostermite". No true blue Aussie would even entertain the idea of buying it a second time.

The name has been scrapped, kraft bowed to the public uproar.
I don't eat the stuff but others we know who do have the same opinion as those quoted here and elsewhere.

I might be a cynic but Isnack was the most brilliant name they could ever have come up with. There are several reasons
1: every living soul from Cape York to Hobart has now heard of it
2: the amount of publicity that has been generated is worth millions
3:every radio talk back show and current affairs show has mentioned it
4:before Isnack who had really thought about it
5:Its now a collectors item because of this ...what a dream people buy your stuff because they don't want to use it
6:Its either the most brilliant marketing ever or i doubt this, but its the worst ever marketing.
7:its even being discussed on forums which have nothing to do with food......oh yeah just like this one LOL
My opinion, it was pure genius to mess with something as sacred to Aussies as Vegemite, and then to give it a stooooooopid name and have 22 million people talk about it.
