If you can find a book called 'Gold and Ghosts' online or at a detector shop it has a wealth of information as to where gold has been found.
If you get serious I have a Minelab SD 2100 detector I could part with as I don't get to use it much these days.
Cheers

Hi guys, until this post I hadn't thought about selling it or working out a price, but now the idea has arisen I realise I should sell it and let someone else get some pleasure out of it as I no longer can get out to use it.
I would have to get around $1800 for it for me to sell it as I know they regularly bring that price.
If anyone wants to buy it and it would help them, I am leaving WA next week and will be in Adelaide on the 16th October and Bacchus Marsh Vic a week later and could bring it with me to meet a buyer.
Cheers

Yes Stefan, it is the same. That looks to be a very good price, I can only say mine is definitely a one owner and I know it is in good condition. (that one may be too but I don't know).
I would be happy to give you a run through on it for sure.
Cheers

If the buyer is lucky he may aspire to finding something like this......

correction to the above statement, he was not unemployed but was actually a disability pensioner, in which case, "good on him"
I tried mine out again yesterday (scorpion gold stinger) went out to the ranges and had a walk around for a while, found an inaccessible spot, turned it on and started wandering around in ever increasing circles
alarm goes off, excitedly starts digging, 2" another scan, 4" another scan, heart racing, maybe this time, 6" another scan 10" "RINGPULL" holy snappin behemoths I cant bloody win
came home thoroughly disgusted, might sell mine yet
