Just done the hardest thing ever I have had to do. We just had to put to sleep our 14 year old girl. This afternoon she started having fits and was just terrible to watch and the kindest thing was to help her. I am heartbroken but will say that the past 4 months she had a new lease on life and enjoyed her last few months on the road.Get out there. Life is just so short and if you have a pet they can enjoy it with you. Cannot write anymore as cant see for the tears, life is too short I will miss our Sharna so much. Chris and Robbie

Really hard on you, but it was easy on her, the right thing to do at the right time,
Pixie died in 3 minutes from a bait in my arms, ,that was in 2005, it gets a little easier as time goes by,
Maybe a new puppy might help, I know as Tisha sometimes gets called Pixie

Hi Chris and Robbie.
Bill and I are so sorry to hear the sad news about your beautiful Sharna. As I type this the tears are streaming down my face blurring the screen.Unless people are true dog lovers, they do not understand. Our beautiful Niki who is nearly 12 years and our stunning new boy Luka who has just celebrated his first birthday are the loves of our lives. They get into your heart and soul and truly are family members. Their love is unconditional unlike us human beings. Yes in time the sadness lifts a little but you never ever forget them or the joy they have brought to your lives.Sharna will be waiting over the Rainbow Bridge. Will forward you a beautiful poem shorthly. Take care. Our thoughts are with you.
Bill and Louise.

Having to perform that act of kindness is the most honorable thing we humans can do for our pets. It's never easy and a tense stressful and emotional time, My thoughts are with you....

Hello Chris and Robbie.I cant add anything else to the great messages that have been sent your way.I believe that only a person who has had the love of a dog can feel the sadness when we have to say goodbye.Time is a great healer, memories last forever.Cheers.Ibbo.

Let the tears go Chris and Robbie. Others have said it all. True animal lovers will underatand. My "Mac" is still in my heart. I miss him to this day and that was 20 year ago. I never understood what I did to deserve him, but the love he gave me was unconditional and unforgettable.

Hi everyone am still feeling sad about our old girl and thank you so much for your kind thoughts Animals teach us so much in life, They never judge us just love us as much as we love them. Isnt it a shame us humans are not like them, Sharna was the most beautiful dog and was a privilege to care and love her over the last 14 years. We will never forget her and we are so happy that in her last few months that she was so happy meeting new people and being a grey nomad with us.
RIP our beautiful Black Lab

So sorry guys, mine was two years ago. Had to get another to fill that gap and I am sure our old girl still wanders the back yard telling her all her secrets, where to lay, which brick to move to escape etc.
