Suppose this should have gone on Milos weather thread, as that was the memory stirrer At Mallacoota parked side on to the sea , that is on the south east heading, The wind picked up the annexe of the fella next door and blew it several vans back , you learn not to put out the canvas on days like that, the van was rocking a bit, considered moving it to face on the wind but too damn lazy
beware the onshore wind

The driving wind and rain over here, just South of Geraldton, is pretty fierce too. So much so, that we have decided to give the South West corner of WA a miss this time around, and head back East via the Nullabor to meet you two lovebirds in the orchards, before heading back up to Bundaberg to have a beautiful new door fitted to our motor-home. Nothing particularly wrong with this Toyota folding one, but my Queen has fallen in love with a 'Bundaberg Triple Lock, Combination Door' that we have seen on few other rigs, which will provide further storage space too.
Shame really, as we were both looking forward to that pretty corner of WA. Most of the local folk have told us that March/April is a far better time do see that part of WA, so we have had to re-schedule our 2010 trips accordingly.

Not too sure about the reply from Dave06, but when we get back to base at Sapphire Mike, we can make a plan to get both M/H's up to scratch in readiness for a real 'beaut' of a trip.

the young fella is refering to a song by Kris Krisstoffson about a driver who;s call sign on the CB was the Rubber Ducky, seems he got an unfair fine from the local bears (pollce) and all the semitrailer in America banneded together to blockade a town,
A very stirring song, and an good movie,
