Is the small ho****er cylinder in caravans big enough to get a good shower? Friend has a shower in a Jayco 26 and says there is never enough hot water. Not sure how long he expects it to last. But surely there is enough hot water for a quick shower.

Hi we have a 21ft Jayco Sterling with ensuite; I wash myself and my hair (and also even rinse the "smalls" out in the shower) !!; yes you dont't just stand there, have to be quick but I stay until hot water runs out. Even hubby has shower and he's a big bloke, especially very early in the morning when having to go to work. Cheers Colleen

can I ask why the letters describing the "cylinder" in MM's post were deleted. I'm guessing it was describing the temperature of the water?????

because it contained the word "t.w.a.t." in it, not allowed to say that, even though we are all supposedly grown up's in here
welcome to you MM, hope you find that which you seek
plenty of hot water in the heater, if you run out of hot water then you are using too much and your tank is going to run dry anyway, unless you are in a c/park

WebMistress, please; is there some way of convincing the ultra moralistic mob who run the site that they come across as being as being a mob of mini-minded galahs with this non-contextual letter sequence expurgating.

We have a 10L hot water tank in our van, unless the other half washes her hair it is enough for both of us to have a quick shower.

Thanks for asking that question Rolly; I have been so confused especially when mentioning that town on the Nullabor starting with C and ending with iddy.!! Is this called political correctness? Golly Gee there is a small minority who are making life most difficult. Perhaps the town of C......iddy will be asked to change their name. Near our home town there is a small village by the sea named "Blackfellows Caves" it is a wonder that name hasn't been changed also.!!

But it's a bit of an insult to the Anzacs who wore an emu feather ****ade in their slouch hats and ****ed their hats to the elegant ladies gathered below the village weather****.
Franky I think that they've gone off half ****ed in their approach to "decency" and failed to realise that, like beauty, obscenity in language is in the eye (or in this case also ear) of the beholder.
There are many more obscenities in the world that they could turn their attention to.
Priestly paedophilia would be a good start.
Anti-social exclusion of 'heretics' and the consequential familial disruption would be a couple of others.
I won't go on.
I'm sure you get my drift.
Like something about the mote in thy brother's eye.

Rolly,

We have a a 20ft Sterling with shower and have never run out of hot water.
I even brush my teeth whilst in the shower. Plenty of hot water, but you cannot afford to stay under the shower for a long period.
Get in and get out
Cheers Colleen
