G'day everyone, just joined this forum and look forward to joining in. We are off on Wednesday heading eventually to Alice Springs via Berri, Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Yulara and Kings Canyon. Our first big trip in a year. Will hopefully put up some photos after we get back.

Thanks for the welcomes! Daisy and Disco Duck we are travelling with a Galaxy tandem pop top with a GU Patrol 3l TD acting as tug. Estimated duration of this trip is 34 days. Have that terrible affliction that returns after four weeks or more. I don't have to say it do I? It is looming now, next shift at 1000 and one tomorrow and thats IT. The Gnome Ranger and Pronto, thanks for your welcome. I will play the William Tell Overture if you get my drift. LOL. Terry.

Gday Terry and welcome from me as well, 34 days, hell you will have a blast, we had arranged a trip up that way this month but circumstances overtook us and we will not be going, very jealous is all I can say all the best and enjoy the trip

Thanks Dave and G'day to you. I don't have a problem with jealous just don't call me names!!! Been getting things together this morning. I am at work now and enjoying a little peace between calls so I thought I'd have a look at the forum. Any way please have a good day and stay happy.

ah! work, I remember that, actually since I've been a bit crook my "work" has become fantastic, I decided that sitting around watching days of our lives was not for me and since they wont accept my resignation and technically I am on long service leave I decided to get work brought to me, mailed, couriered or emailed, cant stand doing nothing, never could, I start "remodelling the house" or work on little blue what a lark, I am getting more done in less time, I can look after little "R.J", do the housework, get my lad off to the living skills centre and pick him up (something i could never do before), run my sharpening business, man the crisis phones and still put in a 10 hour day "at work" I have my long service leave pay as well as my "regular" monthly salary, what a lark!! not sure if it is technically "legal" having two lots of pay but they were that far behind that I put the idea forward and they accepted, I was bored out of my brain whenever I feel a bit tired or bored I either have a squizz at what all you blokes are up to or I make a cuppa and take bubby for a walk we all should "work" like this, nevermore shall I darken the horrid doorways of the coalface oh!! I forgot to welcome you to the nuthouse as well, good to have another with us!!
