Hi Ma,
Yes I have one which have yet to use in the van but I'm about to get on the road for Nth Qld on Monday or Tues and I'm taking it with me as my small wind-up van (Goldstream Goldcrown) has a microwave but no oven.
I do use it at home regularly and can recommend it. I purchased mine from Hardly Normals

I bought one from HomeArt a few months ago.
Living alone and cooking for just one person I find it very useful.

Hi Ma
Fantastic things,
had one since they came out and renewed it about 5 yrs ago, dropped the lid on the rocks near where I was in a CP near Seal Rocks NSW
cook anything makes great scones, and a bloody marvellous roast, when done put in some water and it self cleans
No fires to worry about, no scavenging wood that the wildlife likes to hide in, and light as a feather
plug it in and walk away.

Does anyone have any idea on how to convert a traditional recipe to accommodate the turbo.
I am talking about the time taken to cook the item eg: cake, scones etc.

Bought a Cookwell convection oven for Anne's birthday today.
They bake.steam.grill.toast.broil.roast.and thaw 2 or 3 times faster according to the box.
(but no instruction manual was enclosed. back to the shop tomorrow.)
Purchased from Homeart for &79.99 on special . normally $139. Anne's always wanted one after chatting to other caravanners who don't have ovens in their van's. Please let me know if anyone finds a recipe book with the adjusted times.

One of those "Perpetual Promotions"
I pass the local 'HomeArt' shop regularly and have yet to see one advertised at the "normal" price.

Yep. a quick check shows me they have been $79 specials forever. Got me again. Must get to town more often. Got the missing instruction book today- lots of recipes in it if anyone wants them. Or google "convection oven recipes' there's heaps there for all the different makes.

Yep our local Homeart is always having a final sale!!!! I've bought some stuff from them and all seems to be what you pay for.....
They tell me you can cook cakes and scones and soup and just about anything in them.
Comments please
Ma
Irona (my dear wife)says just use it like a fan forced oven and use your favourite recipe book.
Irona has been using an Easy Cook Turbo Oven for about 10 years now and finds it very good.
Hope this is if some benefit to you.
John
I googled it and this site is one of many that popped up.
I am a bit time poor at the moment but will check some more out for you.
I don't know of any books you can buy though, sorry.
