At Belmont Pk horse races today (WA race 7), ran a horse called "Dare to be Grey"
It won (of course) and paid a "top fluctuation" of $4.00 and you could have had it on UNI Tab and received $3.70.
Trained by J P Taylor and riden today by Jason Brown
I will keep an eye out for the next run

I don't follow you 2bob.... how can you be off topic if you start the topic?
keep us posted, maybe we could start a syndicate and race grey horses?

Only ever back on the Melbourne Cup and ALWAYS a grey horse, doesn't matter who's up or track form or anything like that. Grey Horse for me............even before I got the grey bits up stairs.

if you post a topic and immediately go off topic then how can the original topic stand to be a topic which is likely to be off topic in the first topic
most topical I find!!
tottally off the original topic which was off topic in the first place, would you consider another go at breaking the magical "42" members on line at any one time again Bob
queen Cindy reckons we may be in for a chance this time round,
Bob's idea, it's in your court Bob, what do you reckon

I was off topic, that is travelling, grey nomad style, and just wanted to let everyone know of a horse I thought was relevent (in name only). Downside is, I did not have my money on it, but there is still a chance the one I did will get something for trying (if it ever gets past the line : due soon)
Now leaving the off topic, to be on topic about something that was not part of the topic, and keeping some relevance to the general topic, whatever that is, topic speaking.
As for another attempt at the record: I noticed the forum numbers have changed, so we no longer have 42 guests as a record to beat.
I do think we could do it though, but I pass the ball onto someone else, as I failed and others may be able to achieve. Count me in though, if and when it happens.
Now to another topic, slightly off topic - I hope you are all having a nice day, I did, on the horses.

The only way to follow a horse is with a shovel and a bag.
Great mulch stuff for the garden once the weeds have been pulled out.
A horse is something you poke hay into one end and shovel up at the other end at great expense to the owner. Cheers Chris

My grand father used to do that. Followed the baker and milk man waiting to pounce on any "mulch" from their horse.... it was a treasured reward....

"Dare to be Grey" is up for another run today. Belmont Race 2 at 3:07.
Riden once again by Jason, and today it looks good. Nice barrier, earlier race, but a little tougher opponents today.
Will have a little each way on it, and let you know the result

The Grey came home 2nd, was backed in to win, paying $1.32
If nothing else it was 1st of the losers

Due to what seemed a lack of interest in things grey, I did not announce her next run.
That was today. where she claimed first, at $4.00 best fluc and $3.15 best tote
