What a beaut place is Sapphire.  I would not have seen much had it not been for Mike and Judy, my gracious hosts who have a rather enviable lifestyle. Makes me realize (again) places I miss as I go along. Talk about away from the rat race!  So free and easy, pleasantly warm, and peaceful.  A totally different feel compared to surrounding  towns. But as I said I wouldnt have known if Mike hadnt showed me around. A good day, thanks  guys.   Didnt get any further than Alpha that afternoon. Did a load of washing and of course it rained this morning. Such is life lol.. ....will look around Barcaldine tomorrow as I head toward  Longreach or wherever. But Ive found some back roads that look more interesting so I may not have to follow the main highway..decisions, decisions ...                                                                               cheers,
