We have been on the road for 6 weeks now and have just begun having problems with our 2 burner stove. The gas is getting to the small burner well but the larger one does not appear to be getting enough fuel through and there is only a small flame. Can anyone provide info on what may be casuing this and is there a simple way to fix it? We are heading to Brisbane tomorrow and may have to stay to get it fixed.
Cheers

You may have to give both burners and all the lines and connections a thorough clean. I have a 2 burner cast cooker which bogs up with grease and dust if I don't use one of the burners for a while. So I just alternate to burn them clean.
Just make sure the gas isn't escaping from a connection before it gets to the burners. I had this experience with a previous 2 burner cooker in a case. It had a built in regulator, and a tiny crack let gas escape before it reached the burners. Potentially very dangerous.
Or go and buy a new one. Could be your cheapest option in the long run. No point in taking huge risks to save a few buck. Throw another snag on the barbie. Cheers Chris.

sounds like you might have a pressure loss.......or your gas cylinder is getting low...check for cracks as Granny said.........I had a 2 burner that...was fine on one but useless with 2...checking...after I tested it in shed...the leak was near the tap valve..and it caught alite....exploding.....I was lucky to get out of the shed without being burnt...as Granny said...2 burners arent that expencive...buy a new one.....DONT PLAY WITH GAS""

Cito what you have is a minor jet issue, remove the burner/jet assembly and poke through the jet with a fine piece of fuse wire
it will run fine. throw it out indeed??
doesnt hurt to keep an eye on possible leaks though!!

Thanks all. We still have gas in the tank but can't remove the burner to check if an insect or has crawled up there or similar blockage. Will have to find a Dometic dealer to have a look methinks.
