Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts. I have to wait for a couple of weeks for the results. The test seemed to go fine, the hospital staff were wonderful, the food was typical. So it's back to Cairns tomorrow after enjoying the hospitality of the "Cupies". Cheers Chris

Hi Chris - hope all goes well with the tests. Looks like we will miss meeting you, we have been in Cairns for a week and leave tomorow for Mossman. We have enjoyed our stay here though noticed a huge change since we were last here.
We got our Grey Nomad stickers yesterday (daughter sent mail from WA) and they are now proudly displayed on car and van so we will be looking out for other nomads along the way.

I'm now safe and as sound as possible in Cairns.
The hospitality of the Cupies was very special, and included a guided, or mis -guided tour of Ipswich and Brisbane.
Thanks heaps Carol and Graham. The hosts with the most.
I suffered third degree blisters from my "city shoes", so I had to purchase emergency thongs.
Think I'll stick to the bush and the tropics. The weather was quite pleasant in Brisbane, but it's really great to be home in the Roma.
Once again, thanks for your words of support. I feel quite special among my fellow nomads.
PS. The Cupies are flying the "grey" ribbons of the nomad kind.
Cheers Chris

Hey Chris, glad your home safe and sound and all is well, and WILL stay that way.
By the way Chris, you should feel special love, because you are special.
Cheers
Ellen
