Hi all Just loading the Hiace ready to roll North to Kalbarri from Perth tomorrow.
Topping up the windscreen washer reservoirs with water and thinking I need to buy some proper liquid.
Does anyone make their own !!!
Is there a good brand that suits Australian conditions !!
Regards

Don't let my secret out but I use Dishwasher rinse aid in mine and it works very well. Maybe 25ml per litre of water.

hi elliemike. my wife used to mix up a brew, for the washers on my truck. per litre = 200 mils of metho spirits,a couple of squirts of dishwasher detergent, then fill the bottle with water. it worked a treat.

personally. I use beer.
I drink enough of it to make the washing of the windscreen "no trouble" at all

Thanks for the info guys. Think I will start at the top with Basils (secret) Dishwasher Rinse and work my way down.
Suppose Two Bobs the Beer method has alchohol anti freeze properties included. Might try that when I am in colder climes.
At present camped in Canaervon and enjoying the sunshine.
