Thought that solar was a cheap alternative to electric or gas.  Have a look at this sun oven site , at around $690 in Oz  I can't see them get off the ground in any hurry.  Almost need a second trailer to cart it with you  

USD289 ÷ 0.78 =appx AUD370

But that still makes it rather expensive.

Home made from corrugated cardboard, alfoil, black paint and oven bags is so-o-o much cheaper.

Trying to find the link to the solar powered hot air engine that drives a generator, was about $600....

Apparently they are selling in Vic and SA at up around the $690 Aus mark so if they are $289 US then some one is making a packet on importing them
