we intend to go over in winter one year just to see the snow on cradle mountain, absolutely beautifull I would imagine, it's not a cheap trip but if it was spread over say 6 months then the cost wouldnt be too bad, but what ever you do grab a cabin those chairs are ludicrously uncomfortable

Travelled to Tassie for our 25th wedding anniversry in Nov. '98.Snow on Cradle Mt. Absolutlely beautiful.If you can survive the foggy trip to the West coast(first time in my life I had suffered travel sickness & I was driving)Strahan is one of Tassies magical places.Be back there in a whisker.

we did it in january this year for our 30th (2 weeks) absolutely magical even then, no snow but it was summer, I would love to live there but not enough work for me
