Hello All, We will be travelling around with 2 Jack Russells, 1 cat and 1 budgie. Can anyone tell us how the bird and cage get on in the van and how do you stop all the food and water from going everywhere?

Something like a big shower cap fitted to bottom of cage helps. Cheers Barb.

Yes they do make things exacary for this porpoise.... Can't find the link but a mate travels with a galah (no his wife is the one not in a cage) and he got a vynl elastcised bizzo that slips over the bottom of the cage and comes halfway up the side. Try a Google search for "Aviaryist supplies" or similar or check out a pet shop....

Sorry Basil, We have left the budgie at a friends place until the new van arrives in about two weeks. He is quite happy with the arrangements as he is with other birds near him. The two dogs and the cat have become used to living in the 15' poptop and all looks good for the future events. Sorry for not replying earlier as things have been in a muddle, with selling up the house and getting rid of all the furniture etc. We have purchased an elastic cover to collect the spillages and all will be well. regards, Ablett.
