Bad line storm coming from the west. High winds and heavy rain. Trying to get everything back in the van and the young bloke from next door came over and offered a hand. All the gear inside and dropped the top, was just locking the top when it hit.
Still some polite young people being raised by parents who care, different from most around here.
will just sit this out, will not last long, benefits Ground dry as hell and needs water, emptied one tank yesterday so this will at lest add a bit.
Hope everyone down south survied todays weather with out injury or damage to homes/vans. Have a good night flocks.

Terrible - quite hot (32 today, yesterday, the day before, etc). I'm hanging out for the forecast thunder storm (??????) to alleviate our water situation (L3 water restrictions).
There were some storm clouds in the sky around lunch time but they have all but disappeared!

As a sidenote the change in weather has brought with it some sort of summer flu
First time I have had flu in 15 years, since having my yearly winter flu shot

They have predicted 42 deg C and the usual storms over the eastern hills in the late afternoon,
May not be as bad as what the People in the North of the State may cop, two Cyclones off the Coast at present.

Close to perfect here in Brissy.
Mid 20's or a bit higher, some cloud & occasional light shower each day .. been like that since before XMAS Day.
I think that you Mexicans went south too soon.
(Some hot weather coming later in the week .. If you believe the Weather Bureau)

Ballarat now. Actual 25.9, feels like 27.7, humidity 88%. I'm perspiring just sitting down. Can even dry clothes or the bath towels. We can handle hot (over 100F not uncommon) here in Mexico. It's the humidity that we don't like.

Had some good rain last coupla days and the Trades blowing for a coupla weeks too
Breezy.
Cupie andd others.
You should come up here. we always sleep nekkid.....
I only ever have sheet on bed.
use in cooler weather.
Zilch otherwise.
Damned if I know how you lot can live in those cold climes. (Through choice)
Where I come from gets down to minus 12 to 20 in bad winters.
MY choice is here.
I haven't seen frost even. in over 40 yrs.
Nor do I want to thank you. brrrr.
Only thing I miss about the cold is decent Brussel sprouts. Broc, and most greens.
That need frosts to activate the true tastes.
But I'll soldier on hey.
That was a quick little scoot down the East coast this yr too.
Near 5 hrs off 2012 record.
And if those boats were built with a little seamanship instead of weight. weight. weight.
Oats would have had TWO rams for canting keel. Opposing, with separate oil feeds.
One is bloody ridiculous,
going to sea with NO redundancy on major "moving" parts of a vessel.
is almost criminal in sea law.
Same as tearing your main so early last yr. Faulty main?,
how do you do that with full crew on a 100ft vessel.
Ne=er mind.
Another coupla Mill down the tubes, again.
Wish they'd give me some hey. Just a leetle.

Here in Sunny Perth, the weather couldn't be better,
Lovely clear Blue skies, a very mild day, at 11.00 am the temperature is only 21.5 deg C,
and the Humidity is a pleasant 33%
We had a spot of rain last Tuesday, but hardly enough to wash the dust out of the rain gauge,
Could be a different story next week though, a couple of days forecast to be in the high 30s.
Great weather for the garden, all greens shooting up as well as Tomato's, we're in for a bumper crop this year.
