Snow T PM'd with an explanation ... dunno why he didn't put it up here as well.
He said "the pic came up as claire rankin.. maybe due to the photo being from marie claire by Rankin..
that is were the confusion comes from...Juergen"
I think by his comment, Juergen feels the photo is Eva - the photo taken by Rankin and appeared in the magazine Marie Claire.
It is all so confusing. I think photos that are submitted when they are not actually known by the poster will always present a problem
Google is a powerful search engine, but often their search parameters and data cross-referencing bring up conflicting information.
Who knows the answer. Perhaps we should only post photos of folk that we either know, or who we have done some research to confirm their identity.
Anyway, I believe BGs guess was first and correct - but Juergen has the final say.

AS I told RL I think the issue has come from the simple fact that the photo was taken by Rankin and was in Marie Claire... ..
Who the rankin is I don't know...
Claire Rankin might of just diversified her own work path as she is know for a number of roles in front of and behind the camera..
