Just returned from N.S.W. and South QLD. outback, freezing at night cool days, but enjoyed it
immensely. Stayed at a great caravan park at Charliville called Bush Caravan Park, no dogs or smokers
allowed, (sorry smokers ) entertainment, free Damper, cooked over the fire most nights, and nice amenities.
$30-00 per night with a free night if you stay a week. BTW. if you stay at Charliville don't miss the Bilby presentation
at the railway station it's well worth seeing and learning how lucky they were to have survived the slaughter
from feral animals.
We did the plane flight to Lake Eyre with a stop at Birdsville both ways, the pub is an eye opener, and it seems
there are big things happening for Birdsville for the future. The Channel country was amazing and Lake Eyre had
water in it which looked amazing from the air.

It was Bleeding Freezing here in Perth this morning, 2.4deg at 6.00am now a barmy 13deg at 10.00am
Forecast Thunder-Storms tonight, can see the change coming from the South right now !!!

In Surat, watching the Ballonne River Rise. Has been raining all last night and all morning, road closed Surat to Roma, we should be able to go to Dalby tomorrow via Meandarra.

Bunbury WA raining again, and the farmers recently lost some crops due to an overnight frost, but it should start warming up a bit from here onwards

Up the Mountain : Bathust Mt Panorama for 1000 :: Top day today but it has been very windy :: Thank goodness for diesel heater on low overnight : keeps my old joints sort of active ::Our son and grand children are sleeping in 7 X 4 covered trailer ::

We have been in Pt Augusta for 3 days and the wind has been horrible,we are heading off tomorrow back to WA, after 8 months on the road. We have had a fantastic time and caught up with all our friends we have met on the road in the last 15 years.

The Southerners on the way home aught to slow down .. still a lot of good weather ahead before summer heat.
Water's warming so the Redclaw will be moving about soon too.

Was a little worried this morning with cloud and over cast weather .. 2 PM is suny so far . Bit of wind over night .. The awning rattled a few times .. But makes more noise than anything .. Bathurst..

Unbelievable wind here in Ballarat (mother nature not me). So far today I've tied back a garden gate, propped up a tree, and tied up a neighbours fence/gate. And all with cable ties. What a brilliant invention.

Just pressed the post button and the power went off. Stepped outside to check the meter box and tripped up my van skylight. Strange part I went to buy a van cover yesterday and didn't. Just finished stretching some tarp and occy straps across the roof .
