We always were after a "best fit" arrangement, and personally, I reckon we are doing OK.

After talking to a few people who've done this sort of thing before, I've realized it's impossible to please everyone, which is what I've been trying to do. So I'm not going to be posting again until Pam and I have done our recce, and Jack Mac has checked up his way.
I'll start a new thread when we've decided. You can join us...or you can't...simple as that! We'll be there in the first week of June.
You are a good person Beth, thank you for your efforts

Thats the way to do it Beth - good on you. Pick a date - time - and let everyone make their own arrangements.

I reckon we do have to give Beth some assistance- no fair to cut her loose.
In the end we will have a great time, but it can be a worry for a while.

Here are some photos of Bradley Wolf Braeveheart retreat at Agnes Water I took this morning. Will submit in lots of three as it doesn't like me sending more than that at one time.
Looks a great spot Jack. Very pretty and plenty of room.

Very quiet. As by pics dam is surrounded by a ring of scrub and trees. Not great for sitting at the bank for a cuppa etc. Camp ground wide open, no water views just bush etc. Showers, composting toilets (one of each) approx 100 mtrs or more depending on where you camp. Lady who looks after the place wasn't there this morning. Couldn't see designated fire spots but on previously speaking to her said they could probably do something. Also she had stated that for those who really need it approx 4 rigs could connect to power. Bring own leads. Dogs allowed. Upside: Agnes Waters/1770 not far away 20-30klm, With restaurants, all other amenities etc., nice beaches (swimming for southerners, to cold for this little Qld duck).

I had a look at Cobb & Co Nine Mile Campgrounds on my way up to my sisters at Tin Can Bay.
It's 15 kms SE of Gympie. 6 kms of gravel raod, but I went in with my i30 no problem...I wasn't towing my Nipper, but couldn't see a problem with taking a caravan or motorhome in there. Toilets, showers, dogs allowed, only a couple of power outlets at the shed near the owners house. $10 per adult.
The owners are very nice...Sean said if their were a good few of us, they'd make the camp kitchen exclusive for our use.
I have photo's but as usual, I can't get them to upload. You can Google image to see what it's like. Those images are correct, except the lagoon wasn't so full. I saw several kangaroos too!
