OK .. change of 'style' .... what is the name of this group?
No idea.
Let's kick it off with a clue then ...
An Australian rock band formed in the early 70s.
Their initial group (different name) recorded cover versions in the late 1960s, obtaining a record contract and further singles.
Looks like Bon Scott as the center guitarist. I'll guess the band was Blackfeather...
NAH .. not Blackfeather ... or Bon Scott either
Another clue praps - They renamed their band in 1970 after a popular song of the 1950s.
I am betting you will get this one Jules but it is not Skyhooks. They were about five years after the group in the photo.
A cuppla clues to keep it ticking over praps ...
Robbie Porter signed them to a recording contract.
Their first single became an instant number one.
Is it Ol' 55 ?
Nah not Ol 55 ...
I thought everyone had disappeared ...
Here are the clues so far again ....
They renamed their band in 1970 after a popular song of the 1950s.
And a new one ...
In its first month their first album sold 60,000 copies.
Boy Mr Google is getting a good work out this morning!
Is it Daddy Cool?
Here are what were to be my last clues -
They toured the USA three times in the early 70s.
They broke up in 1972 after their third US tour bored.
They reformed in 1975 but it only lasted a year.
These blokes were real cool
And well done malurus
Give us a pic to ponder over
Another one from that era, who is the man playing guitar?
OOOOOO ! ....... I have searched me brain .... and I will take a rough stab that it is Lonnie Lee ... looks like a Six O'Clock Rock scene.
Didn't think it would take long, yes Lonnie Lee it is.

Let's keep em easy
