"Yep" there's one other thing that the wind's good at, and that's spreading Bushfires all over the State of W.A. at the moment,
They just about get on top of one fire and then there's another one going like the clappers,
Not a lot of clear blue sky over on this side of the sand patch at the moment,
The forecasters say we have another 3-4 days of possible thunder storms to run, with humidity running at over 50% today,

Almost clear skies here in Perth, makes a change after breathing smoke from the Fires down South,
We had hoped to be down in Walpole by now for a bit of cooler weather but the road is closed and will be for another couple of weeks,
They reckon the fires will burn on into Winter !! there goes our plans out the window.
What a great shot but it's a hard thing to see knowing it is fire fire and more fire. We've just got some rain today in far south NSW - hope it comes your way but it usually doesn't go from east to west. All the best.

Living on the Sunshine Coast we have had intermittent heavy rain all night. We got 141mls overnight. The rain kept coming in Bands. At 9.45 it is cloudy and overcast with the occasional shower.
Expecting the rain ramp up later in the day when the cyclone moves further south.
Not expecting severe flooding here as the area is fairly dry. All the swamps, rivers and dams need to fill and overflow to cause moderate and major flooding

We have just come up from Boonah in the SW of QLD to Pine Rivers Showground, Lawnton, on the North side.
Rained most of the night in Boonah, but we got out no worries -rained all the way up the motorway, and across through Milton - traffic not bad, travelling reasonably safely.
Gympie Road, at the garage an Hungry Jacks just before Strathpine turnoff - flooded very badly - wouldn't have liked to be in a small car, would not have gotten through at all - no police or emergency services at the site, cars going everywhere, wrong way on the highway, best thing is to sit it out somewhere safe and dry. The service road near the United Garage just before Strathpine (on the left) total flooded, no way in or out of the garage.
Police, fire truck and emergency services heading in a southerly direction as we came past Strathpine shopping Centre. We are in the Pine Rivers (Lawnton) showgrouns, parked on asphalt until the weather settles a bit.
Drive safe - do not go through water over road, unless you can see how deep it is, and if it will be safe for your car.
Take care all!

If you live between Wallal to Wiluna to Mount Jackson to Mount Magnet to Errabiddy to Paraburdoo to Mardie you should take action and stay safe with the start of severe thunderstorms.
This includes people in, near or between Meekatharra and Newman and surrounding areas. This does not include Karratha, Port Hedland and Wallal. This weather pattern is being influenced by the remnants of ex-Tropical Cyclone Lam and severe weather may occur in some parts of the warning P.S. almost forgot to mention, three's also a chance of another Thunder Storm in the afternoon, ( More Bushfires )
THUNDERSTORM DETAILS: As at 1.17pm on Monday 23 February 2015 the Bureau of Meteorology advises that there is a risk of severe thunderstorms developing after 2pm Monday and continuing into Monday evening. Storms may be accompanied by damaging winds, large hail and heavy rainfall with flash flooding.
