You gave me a couple of books by this bloke Bill Harney (Bilarni to his mates ) when we met a cuppla years ago.
I have since attracted a few more of his.
And saw his son on TV the other night too on NITV.
Cheers - John

You're right John. Said it was easy didn't I ? That would not have been his son you saw the other night though. Probably one of his aboriginal friends, who had adopted his name when he left them.
His only son died at about 12 years of age trying to save another child in a Waterhole. Haven't looked it up, but if you have "Grief, Gaiety and Aborigines" I think you'll find out exactly where and when. His only daughter didn't live past her early teens, dying from the same disease that took his wife.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Ya right - but this bloke is the one I saw on NITV - and it says his biological father is William Edward Harney ... must be the same bloke surely - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Yidumduma_Harney
He was on the show called Talking Languages - about how the indigenous languages are being lost etc. Excellent show.
This is the show - http://www.roninfilms.com.au/feature/10154/talking-language-with-ernie-dingo-from.html
