Very wet and windy on the south coast NSW. 4 inches of rain so far and pouring down. SO glad we are in our house and not the caravan during this storm.

And the rain has gone again on the far south coast. Pity we couldn't blow it further inland where it is really needed. Hope tomorrow is a bit warmer. Only 16C here today.

South coast NSW.... It doesn't take long for the weather gods to change their attitude, today has been gloriously sunny, with light breezes. If it wasn't for the odd fallen tree and debris you'd never know there had been a storm.
We even went down to the beach this afternoon, surf's up!

Ah but further down the coast it wasn't real warm - only got to 18C. Nice in the sun if you could find a spot. But don't let that stop GNs coming to this beautiful part of the world.

The warm I mentioned has turned to very hot here in central VIC. You can tell too cos all the happy campers are very quiet today and we all seem to be lacking energy. I went into the local big smoke early this morning for more vidles etc.

Bloody hot in Narribri and then the change came in about 6:30 pm bringing wind and rain and lightning. First time this summer the forecast had been right and the promised storm has arrived so here we sit watching the awning flap (4 of us already had to rescue and dismantle what the wind left of one caravan's awning) and wondering what happened to the sky show.
